Outreach

Members of the lab are passionate about outreach and hope to create more opportunities for students in lower-income communities.

We are making connections with high schools in the San Diego area, particularly the South Bay and East County regions. We plan on engaging with students in multiple ways including:

• Going to high schools in the district and presenting our work/research

• Inviting students for a lab tour

• Facilitating a program where students are selected to spend a summer in the lab
